This year, for the second year in a row, Northpoint Toyota teamed up with St Francis Xavier's Catholic School to celebrate National Tree Day. With the help of our friends @izak.rankine, @markkeane3, @lachlansholl, @wmilera, and the unmatched energy of @claudethecrow, the day was filled with community spirit and environmental action.
Planting the Future
Throughout the day, we planted 150 trees and plants, contributing to a greener and healthier environment. The students and volunteers showed incredible dedication, working tirelessly with their hands in the dirt, nurturing each plant into its new home.
Community and Connection
The event was more than just tree planting. It was a day of community connection and fun. Everyone enjoyed a classic sausage sizzle, and the kids had a blast kicking the footy with their favorite players. The quick Q&A session with the players was a highlight, giving the children a chance to interact and learn from their sporting heroes.
A Growing Tradition
Planet Ark's National Tree Day began in 1996 and has since grown into Australia's largest community tree planting event. We are proud to be a part of this important tradition and grateful to everyone who made this amazing day possible. Your support and enthusiasm continue to make a difference, one tree at a time.
