Capped Price Servicing, known as Toyota Service Advantage, means owning a new Toyota can be a lot less expensive than other cars..

When you buy a new Toyota, you don't have to worry about unexpected and astronomical service costs. Every Toyota across the range comes with a low capped price service cost for a set number of years/kilometres[B20]. You'll pay the same low price from one logbook service to the next. The Toyota Warranty Advantage [T4] applies to all new Toyota vehicles delivered in Australia by a Toyota Dealer from 1 January, 2019. The Toyota Warranty Advantage is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law statutory consumer guarantees. 

Toyota's previous warranty period was three years/100,000km, whichever occurs first. Toyota Warranty Advantage vehicles now enjoy a five years/unlimited km warranty.

As well as vehciles Toyota Genuine Parts and Accessories[T5] warranties ensure you maintain your Toyota over a lifetime of ownership.

Service & Maintenance

It's important to listen to your car and deal with any car maintenance problems immediately. Be on alert for changes in performance, sounds and visual tip-offs that indicate service or repairs may be needed.

If you experience any of the following early warning signs, make sure that you have your local Toyota Service Centre inspect your car at the earliest possible opportunity.

  • Engine stumbling
  • Strange engine noises
  • A leak under the vehicle
  • A change in noise from the exhaust
  • Spongy feeling brake or clutch pedals
  • High engine temperature
  • The steering pulls to one side

The best way to ensure trouble-free motoring for years and years is to develop a habit of regularly checking under the bonnet and around your Toyota. The following quick checks could save you money in future. Three things to check regularly:

  1. Check engine oil/coolant/brake/clutch/windscreen washer fluid levels.
  2. Check tyre pressure including spare (when cold)
  3. At home, you should walk around your car checking all lights and indicators are operating

[T4]Applicable to new vehicles used for commercial applications, such as taxis, hire vehicles and vehicles transporting people or goods for payment including a part-time or casual basis, delivered on or after 01/01/2019. The standard Toyota Warranty Advantage period is for 5 years/160,000kms (whichever occurs first), from delivery. This warranty does not limit and may not necessarily exceed your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
